There are Rivers in the Sky★ 7.1
Elif Shafak
Interesting read, took a bit to really get into it, but glad I preserved.

1Q84★ 6.0
Haruki Murakami
I read the whole thing, all 1,318 pages. I kept going because at some I was like, “I can’t give up now, it has to make sense eventually”. It didn’t. But it kept me turning the page, and a fucking lot of them (I am mainly swearing to test if the app will let me).

Scott Lynch
I don’t read fantasy often, but I loved this book. I usually read to help think about something else, but this book sucked me in and I kept finding myself losing track of time I was so engrossed with finding out what happened next.

The Motorcycle Diaries A Journey Around South America★ 8.1
Ernesto Guevara
Made me want to get my motorcycle license, long before I could.

Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Second favorite book. Carlos describes the setting and character motivations so well.

A Little Life★ 9.0
Hanya Yanagihara
Very brutal and difficult topics at times, amazing characters that felt like friends by the end of it.

Shantaram★ 9.9
Gregory David Roberts
This is my favorite book. Despite the daunting size, I have somehow names to read it three times and gotten something different out of it each time.
