The Place Where They Buried Your Heart★ 8.1

Monster House but much darker, i love love loved it!! Only lost some points as the end felt kinda rushed and definitely could’ve made more of the ‘final battle’, but ultimately I really enjoyed the pacing for 90% of it so I’m just being picky really. Good to know horror is definitely my genre (no-one is surprised)

Enemies to lovers where they’re ACTUALLY enemies is very appreciated! Really loved the hunter/hunted vibe and genuinely kept me interested thoughout

The Silent Patient★ 6.9

Really expected more from this? A fairly interesting twist but it was revealed so late on that I didn’t care, and it didn’t make much sense if you think long enough about it

The Ballad Of Song Birds And Snakes★ 8.5

I just love a villain origin story!!! minus a few points as part 3 did drag in some ways, but still loved it

I know this is so so good but some of the info dumping was way too much and confusing, loved how rich the world was but think it could’ve been built in a clearer way

This was cute and wholesome🫶🏼 Lovely portrayal of grief and connection

Sirens with wings instead of a tail??? the blood bond was cool and kinda hot but there were no cool siren scenes like at all? She could’ve been any other mythical creature and it would not have changed the story much - just wanted to her to get in the damn ocean like at least once ??
